Laura has worked with Authentic Leadership Global for close to a decade, initially as a facilitator, then as a trainer of coaches and facilitators while also delivering the programs to clients within several sectors, including corporate, health care and the Canadian federal government.

Laura’s grounded and calm facilitation style creates an immediate sense of trust. Because of this trust, individuals and teams can quickly develop the openness needed to tackle and process real issues. Her facilitation and coaching style allows for deep personal and professional reflection and growth in alignment with client's values, purpose and principles.

She brings to her clients a broad understanding of both the rewards and challenges of entrepreneurial life as well as the corporate and non-profit sectors.

Laura completed an Executive MBA at the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University. She participated in the Americas program, studying in Brazil, Mexico, and the USA. She earned a Bachelor of General Studies in SFU’s Liberal Business Studies Program, graduating with distinction.

Laura is very passionate about social justice and social-profit work. Laura served for several years as a Board member of the North Shore Restorative Justice Society and is a trained and experienced facilitator of restorative justice files, referred to the society by local police and others.

Laura took time off in 2020 to care for her husband Andrew as his health declined. After he passed in January 2021, she focused on her grief process and self-care. Since she returned to the work she loves, she continues to prioritize self-care, cultivating resilience by enjoying daily walks with her rescue dog Luna, on forest trails or along the ocean. She also nurtures her health by cycling and practicing yoga and experiences joy by sharing meals and laughter with friends and family.
