I had the pleasure of working with Laura recently on Authentic Leadership. In my experience I have found that when I am ready for the next shift in thinking/behaviour, the ‘right opportunity’ presents itself. I recently had this experience with Authentic Leadership and Laura Mack. I chose Authentic Leadership because I was interested in being my own best ‘leader’. I wanted to really step into being the confident and bright woman that I am by finding my way thru my own challenges. We started with the Emotional Intelligence review which is a great reminder of who I am by nature and how much I have grown. From there I chose to focus on the Inner Critic and Leading by Example. We went deep in the Inner Critic work, stuff I have dealt with in the past but had not considered in relation to work and career. The tools she gave us helped me to regain composure in a triggered moment have changed my ability to maintain focus, not take things personally, and continue to have my voice even in a difficult situation. I had no hesitation is stepping into a new role for which I am well suited where in the past I may have held back thinking I lacked credentials. And as I knew I would, I’m rocking my new role.
